Rachel Lassiter BSHS, HS-BCP
Managing Member/Co-Founder

Over the past 18 years, Rachel Lassiter has served her community in the capacities of leadership, volunteering, mentorship, and ministry. Even amid her client’s toughest circumstances, Rachel has been known for her undying dedication to client progression. As a competent Human Services Board-Certified Practitioner, Rachel has made it her priority to fight for those who need it most.
Her journey began after picking up a small job in Texas at an at-risk youth center in the inner city. It was there that the liberal arts major traded the idea of working for a local paper to pursue her education in Human Services with an emphasis in families and children. This decision would be the gateway to helping her community change the trajectory of many lives across the country. Over the course of her career, Rachel served her community by believing wholeheartedly in trauma informed approaches. Her level of understanding for the youth that she worked with and mentorship of employees, gained her much recognition in the organizations she worked for. This level of compassion, understanding, and rapport made it easy for her to gain the trust of those she sought to impact.
Over the years, Rachel learned to gain and leverage her experience working with military families, (AYPYN division) where she worked as a director with youth struggling with behavioral, suicidal, and mental health barriers of fallen and deployed soldiers. This carried into her work as a case manager, residential coordinator for the developmentally disabled and elderly, and core services contractor for El Paso and Pueblo County, where she completed both intense family services and individualized services to preserve families in need.

To this day, Rachel seeks to not only take person centered approaches with her clients, but she seeks to make impressions on the hearts of her families and changes in their lives that will last a lifetime. The work and dedication that she has given to field this extends across the US from east to west, allowing her to remain in contact with youth and families she worked with almost 20 years ago.

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys reading short literature and writing. Her first book set to release October 2023, called “God Loves Me Best” is an educational, self-help read for youth struggling to find themselves and their place in society. As a graduate from the University of Phoenix, Arizona, Rachel is still seeking to leverage her impact on the community by completing her licensure for a master’s in clinical mental health counseling.
Currently, Rachel also serves as a shelter case manager where she has shifted her focus to fighting daily for the stability of those that suffer from chronic homelessness, severe mental health barriers, and trauma.

Ashley Jelks-Fragier MA, CCTP
Co-Founder

At a very young age, Ashley Jelks- Fragier knew that she wanted to make an impact on the lives of others. Not knowing her journey just yet, Ashley applied to a local non-profit in her community, to work with failing youth fighting the day-to-day barriers of poverty. There, Ashley was able to make a deep impact on youth, giving them the chance to beat all odds of the statics they were born into. However, this would just be the start of many years to come.
During her time in Illinois, Ashley served by working to maintain the health, well-being, and safety for aging persons. In this capacity, Ashley served as an advocate for client rights. When this assignment was completed, Ashely again hit the scene advocating for families that were victims of violent crimes to ensure that they received the compensation and justice they disserved. An experienced mental health professional, and certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Ashley continued to leverage her experience oversees working with underserved populations in South Africa, Germany, and England. These experiences of working with underserved victims lead her to continue her journey as caseworker for El Paso County Department of Human Services where she worked with foster families, and egregious cases until she left in 2021.
Still thriving on her passion to serve her community, Ashley wrote and published her first book, When Wellness Runs Dry — Your Return to Self-Care Begins Here, introduced the unique phenomenon, “The Self-Care Burnout.” This is the idea that excessive bouts of self-care activities cause adverse effects on the person due to the unsustainability of the routine. A graduate of McKendree University with degrees in International Relations and Sociology with a Criminal Justice emphasis, in addition to holding a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Arizona Global Campus, Ashley also serves as Adjunct Faculty at a College teaching Psychology courses while continuing to pursue her doctorate degree.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys reading, traveling, and shopping. She also shares a strong interest in history and teaching where she loves to engage with her students striving to become a part of the helping field as well.

Currently, Ashley also serves in the capacity of a case manager where she too fights to help underserved homeless populations within her community.
